SiSiB® PC1571

Octanoylaminopropyltriethoxysilane.
Synonym: Octanoylaminopropyltriethoxysilane

Chemical Structure

Introduction

SiSiB® PC1571 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive amino groups and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows SiSiB® PC1571 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials and organic polymers, thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, surface modifier and as a reactant for product modification.

SiSiB® PC1571 is a clear to straw liquid.
